
Dirleton Castle is one of Scotland’s oldest surviving castles connected with the De Vaux, Haliburton and Ruthven families. Dirleton Castle has had gardens probably since the medieval period. There is now a blend of traditional formal gardens and more contemporary planting including according to the Guiness Book of Records- the world’s longest herbaceous border.

Coach information. Groups of 11 or more will receive 10% admission prices and driver entry is free.
