Eating and Drinking in East Lothian

East Lothian is renowned for its varied landscape - from the rolling Lammermuir Hills down through the rich agricultural land often referred to as “the bread basket of Scotland” to the coastline of rugged rocks and golden beaches.

This rich environment allows for production of award-winning beef, pork and lamb, finest vegetables and cereals, along with delicious seafood - prawns, crabs and lobsters – landed along our North Sea coastline.

The East Lothian Food & Drink Directory, providing information on all local produce where to buy it, and where you can eat local produce in the many restaurants, pubs and cafes. This guide adds to and complements the successful Farmers Markets held on the last Saturday of each month in Haddington and the annual Food and Drink Festival held in September.
