White Castle Hill Fort

White Castle Hill Fort nestles within the foothills of the Lammermuirs and is a fantastic example of a hill fort with very impressive ramparts and ditches. A short walk from the road takes you through a set of massive ramparts up onto the summit. From the summit there are incredible views over the lower plains of East Lothian with Traprain Law in the middle distance and North Berwick Law in the far distance.

Directions: Approximately 3km south-east of Garvald along the single tracked road to Whiteadder Reservoir.
