The Edinburgh Festival Fringe is the world’s largest arts festival, and it has been estimated that it would take you 5 years, 11 months and 16 days to see every performance, back to back! We are proud to be a small but vital part of this and are looking forward to an exciting bonanza of talent and tunes by the sea this August. We will have approximately, 22 hours of some of the most diverse, interesting and dynamic music around in our summer Fringe programme!

We kick off with Carol Kidd, described by Jazz Review as "Britain's finest ballads singer" Tony Jacobs returns with his show The Sinatra Years, probably the only show in the universe with the name ‘Sinatra’ in the title that does not attempt to be a lookalike or soundalike show!

Skerryvore - "Six of the best musical ambassadors Scotland could have ever wished for… a living, breathing, 12-legged party waiting to happen." (The Falkirk Herald), raise the roof. Blazin’ Fiddles draw the distinct flavours of fiddle music from various regions of the highlands and islands in a fiery blend. Camerata Ritmata mix things up for us with their virtuosic and varied fusion of Latin, jazz and classical guitar styles. Brenda Cochrane’s Just for Joe is a genuine, honest and often very funny one-woman account of a singer’s life.

The Moonlight Serenade Orchestra UK are one bouncy, passionate, swinging big band orchestra with a big sound! Blueflint, take a Scottish look at Americana; a bluegrass banjo duo with beautifully stark but sweet vocal harmonies, original songs and ballads of love, loss and revenge.

You can also enjoy great up-tempo blues with Main Street Blues an exciting Edinburgh based four piece band. Finally, pigs will fly with Macfloyd whose show will feature the Animals album in its entirety and Pink Floyd classics galore.

Free Child Swimming

Parents will be delighted to hear that Free Child Swims are making a return across East Lothian, so between Sunday 4th July - Sunday 15th August children under 16 years can swim for free - every day if they wish!!
