Wish You Were There...
Following last years’ success, we’re delighted to again be hosting our showcase event ‘Wish You Were There…’ at St Andrew Square Garden during the Edinburgh festival from the 1st to 11th August 2013. The high profile event will provide visitors to Edinburgh with an area of retreat during the busy festival period, whilst showcasing all that East Lothian has to offer. ‘Wish You Were There…’ will highlight the region’s rich golf heritage, range of activities, local food and drink specialities and independent retailers, in the stunning natural surroundings of the region. The space will be an interactive, relaxing haven for the whole family to enjoy.
The event is open to the public and will attract in access of 150,000 visitors throughout the course of the two weeks – a fantastic opportunity for tourists and East Lothian businesses to come together and celebrate all that the region has to offer. From East Links Family Park’s mini petting farm, surf lessons from Coast to Coast and a wonderful array of delicious, fresh produce to enjoy – visitors are in for a real treat.
