Coastal Communities Museum

Coastal Communities Museum is located above the local library in School Road, North Berwick. The museum incorporates artefacts and heritage from the town and the surrounding villages of Whitekirk, Dirleton, Gullane and Aberlady relating to 10,000 years of history and pre-history. Each exhibition season the museum introduces a special theme to refresh the permanent display, which will generally include a raft of interactive activities suitable for visitors of all ages - from pre-school to pensioners - and with a variety of interests.

The museum is easily accessible by public transport and private car for which there is ample parking. Less able visitors can park in disabled spaces and access the first floor by a modern lift. Those with a hearing impairment need not worry, as they can connect to the museum's hearing loop.
