Now that the Edinburgh Festival & Fringe are over, itís time to sit back and take a breather - but not if youíre visiting East Lothian where the fun continues!  See below for some of our top events taking place this September.

East Lothian Traditional Skills Festival - Sat 7th & Sun 8th
Cockenzie House & Gardens

Learn about East Lothianís traditional skills and why they are so important today.  Have a go at activities from stone carving, salt making, 3D model making & metal casting to architectural sketching and stained glass making.  Itís free but booking is recommended.  Visit here for more information.

Lammermuir Festival - Fri 13th - Sun 22nd

Dunbar 1650 Battle Weekend - Fri 13th - Sun 15th

Belhaven Brewery 300th Birthday Celebrations - Sat 21st & Sun 22nd
Belhaven Brewery, Dunbar

Belhaven Brewery is 300 years old and to celebrate this milestone, they are hosting a family weekend featuring the very best of Scottish music with local food, family fun and of course Belhaven Beer on Sat 21st.  On the Sunday, come for a tour and a blether, as they open the brewery doors with a chance to see their new visitor attraction.  Visit here for more information.

National Museum of Flight

Dunbar Traditional Music Festival - Fri 27th - Sun 29th
