John Muir Country Park - Linkfield Links

John Muir Country Park is located on one of the most beautiful stretches of East Lothian coastline and offers a range of wildlife habitats that people of all ages will enjoy exploring.  The park is dedicated to naturalist, explorer and conservationist, John Muir.

It's a great place to take a leisurely stroll with kids, you'll find plenty of things to keep them occupied.

How To Get There

By Car/Bike

Follow the A1 at the Thistly Cross Roundabout, take the turning towards Dunbar/East Linton/North Berwick.  There follows a second roundabout, turn right along the A1087, signposted Dunbar.  After one kilometre, turn left and follow the signs into Linkfield car park.

By Train

ScotRail operates a service to Dunbar from Edinburgh and there's also train services from the south stopping at Dunbar.  It's only a 15 minute walk from Dunbar train station to the east end of John Muir Country Park.

By Bus

East Coast Buses operates a service between Edinburgh and Dunbar, ask the driver to drop you off near to John Muir Country Park.
